When the FIFA 15 game arrived in UK last year, Lionel Messi can be had in the first five matches of your team. They also said that it was part of the pre-order freebies for the FUT 15.
According to EA Sports, this comprised some areas of the feature called “loan player”. However, as to how the system worked over-all, nobody knew then.
Later on, by playing the game and collecting experience points, more players were made available to people in the EA Sports Football Club Catalogue. This idea was also new to most people. In FIFA 14, only squad slots, coin boosts and similar stuff were offered as soon as people can unlock FUT in the Football Club.
Instead of previously offering 24 packs bundle, it was increased to also include 40 gold packs in a span of over 40 weeks. That was also part of the freebies offered when people pre-ordered the FIFA 15 UT Edition.
Other incentives that were also included are:
- Kiss the Wrist
- Stand Tall
- Flag Kick celebrations
- Adidas All-Star Team
- Adidas Predator Boot bundle
- Historic Kit bundle
The above mentioned were the freebies people got when they pre-ordered the Ultimate Team Edition. Nonetheless, people were still able to get 15 FUT packs and also saved bucks by pre-ordering the Standard Edition.
For FIFA 16, we will still have to wait and see whether Lionel Messi will still be included in the list of loan players. Although we only know very little about this game since its announcement last month, many are already asking whether there will still be loan players when it comes out. Looks like, things are looking good for FIFA 16!
